Přemysl Vojta believes that great musicianship grows through honest exchange — not through instruction alone, but through open dialogue, shared curiosity, and mutual inspiration. This conviction shapes everything about the way he works with his students.

Since the winter semester of 2021, Přemysl Vojta has held the position of Professor of French Horn at the renowned Folkwang University of Arts Essen, one of Europe's most vibrant and interdisciplinary arts institutions. In his classes, he draws on decades of experience as a soloist and orchestral musician to guide students not only in technical mastery, but in developing their own artistic voice and identity. His teaching goes beyond the instrument — it is about finding courage, expression, and the joy of making music.

In addition to his professorship, Přemysl Vojta regularly gives masterclasses at universities and festivals around the world, bringing his approach to a broader community of young horn players and aspiring musicians. These encounters are, for him, as enriching as they are for his students — a continuous source of fresh perspectives and musical dialogue.
